Lamborghini has released two teaser images of its upcoming Murcielago-replacing Aventador supercar. The latest teaser images feature the Aventador’s race-inspired suspension.
Lamborghini says the Aventador will come to market with an advanced pushrod suspension system — making it the first series production car to come so equipped. Lamborghini says the pushrod setup will return “‘motorsport’ feel combined with long-distance comfort.”
According to the latest information, the Aventador will arrive with a slightly lower horsepower figure of 690, but a zero-to-62 time that stayed the same at a blisteringly fast 2.9 seconds. That is thanks to the new 12-cylinder developing 509 lb-ft of torque to go along with the 690 horsepower, which should be good for a top speed of 217 mph.
